I mailed our 129f petition on the 17th, texas received it on the 18th,i paid the fee by money order for $170 but its still not cashed,i know many of you have received your NOA1 and have filed the same or near the same date as i have.. im starting to think i made a mistake somewhere.

july 2004 met online first time through a good friend

april 2006 reintroduced

may 2006 things start heating up

june 2006 fly to manila to meet her and propose

july filed 129f

aug 11 received csc

aug 17 noa1

oct 24 approved

oct 30 noa2 rec

nov13 recd nvc

nov21 lft nvc

nov24 recvd manila

feb 15 med exam

feb 22 interview

feb 22 approved

It can take up to 30 days for USCIS to acknowledge your petition. Usually it is less than that.

I would not worry about it. Give it another week and you should see some movement..

Fiance should be on her way to me! 11/10/2006

Mikey, you mustve called them back, so the other guy was mistaken and its not cashed??

July 17 2006 Sent I-129F to TSC

July 19 2006 packet received by TSC

July 27 2006 case received at CSC

July 28 2006 touched (to process/send NOA1)

Aug 01 2006 check cashed

Aug 05 2006 NOA1 received in mail

Oct 03 2006 Touched (RFE sent)

Oct 10 2006 RFE received and responded to

Oct 17 2006 Touched (CSC reply to RFE response)

Nov 06 2006 NOA2

Nov 21 2006 NVC sent to Manila

Are you saying that they received it on the 18th because of official notification (sent an e-mail, had your status changed, issued the NOA1) or because you sent it one day air and had "tracking" confirm it was delivered.

If it is because of the one day air thing, the US CIS will tell you to wait 30 days and if you hear nothing further to give them a call.

If it is because you have received the official notification, don't worry, they will cash your check. They would not have marked it as officially received without the money.
