hi I have read that your wife fortunately passed the RN nCLEX exam,I am a RN nurse in the Philippines and planning to take Nclex exam here in Arkansas.Did your wife undergo such nursing review lesson? or just have nursing books that been reviewed by herself? how much did you pay to take her nclex exam? what about CGFNS/ IELTS/ TOFEL exam?did she take any of this text aside from NCLEx prior to working as US-RN?

I did self-review with good nursing textbooks purchased at Barnes and Nobles. If they're too pricey, I would drop by the store every weekend and answer 200 Q&A's in the store. We paid $200 for testing fee and couple of bucks for test application. I didn't took any CGFNS nor TOEFL exams since the state that I registered for didn't require it. Each state BON's have different pre-requisites. I applied for Vermont BON first since it was quicker and less requirements, then when I passed, I had my license endorsed to Pennsylvania. I was required to have a Credential Evaluation done by the CGFNS to qualify for license endorsement which costs about $500. Good Luck on your upcoming NCLEX exam!

Well this happen to someone (white guy) I know in the net also. We were chatting once in a while and he was very excited about someone he met in the Philippines from which I remembered was living in Tagum City.. and he was asking me if I have any idea where the province is. He did told me that the girl was poor (typical story) and he was sending her some money to help. I asked him if he already seen the girl on cam, and he said "No". I thought it was so stupid of him to send some money without actually seeing the girl, and he said that he trust her    . To cut the story short, he shared me the girl's pictures and to my surprised it was Juliana Palermo.. ( a sexy star in the Philippines.)

I simply asked him if the girl was being true to her, and he said he's definitely sure. The guy was being scammed big time so what I did, is I've sent him a link of a website with the same pictures on it. He was really furious and thank me for that..

That was funny

My buddy was chatting on-line with a girl from Cebu for a while. I knew she was trouble when she would "by accident" give him some shots of her chest. I think it was a good month before I saw anything below my wife's neck on a webcam. It was funny, the girl told him one day that she didnt smoke and then not two minutes later a friend off-screen must have left a cigarette near-by because the girl picked it up out of habit and took a puff.

The scam started when she told friend she had to go to a wedding and begged him for a few bucks. I was coming to the Philippines in December of last year so he thought maybe he would go with me and meet the girl. All of a sudden she had to go to Korea for a job. She asked him to wait until June of next year. After loaning her the money earlier all the sweet talk changed into how bad she was struggling and asking him for a few bucks here and there. Friend eventually woke up and quit talking to her. I am just thinking if she has the same thing going on with a bunch of guys she could could be making some good money.

Wow ..my gf never ever showed me anything nor I requested. The last thing we had in mind was sex. All we did was laugh and laugh and that was made us fall for each other.....i met her and the rest is beautiful history! ...just waiting to bring her over.

This information was given to me by my cousin's yaya. Lets hide her under the code XX and the American, XY.

So XX has a cousin who's scamming a self made businessman based in Hawaii. He has been supporting her for a few years now. He sends her $1,000 a week and splurges on her every time he visits the Philippines. The last time he came here, he bought her a Chanel purse, several branded clothes and a gold bracelet. XX accompanies them during their trips to Manila since her cousin insists on it. XY offered XX jewelry and bags as a gift of thanks but she declined every time it was brought up. She only accepted the money he offered when he persistently on it and the largest amount he gave her was Php5,000 which XX immediately sent to her family in the province. According to XX, her cousin never handed her parents money since her sister who married a British national sends their parents money anyway. (XY's girlfriend has a twin sister who is happily married to a British national.)

XY got his girlfriend a tourist visa a few years into the relationship and brought her to the States on several occasions. XY purchased a house and car for his girlfriend in the Philippines since he comes over at least twice a year. One day, XY unfortunately got into a motorcycle accident which cut off a certain appendage. The girlfriend stayed with him despite that. A year after the accident, XY's girlfriend met a Filipino and fell in love. She supports him financially since he's unemployed and to make matters worse, she allowed him to live in the house XY bought for her. Every time XY sends his girlfriend money, she surrenders the entire amount to her Filipino boyfriend because he threatens to leave her whenever she has no money to show.

Her parents and cousin, XX have tried to intervene but their attempts were ultimately futile. From then on, XX refused to accompany her cousin and the parents moved out of the house. During one of XY's visits, he asked to see the house and the first sight he saw was the Filipino boyfriend sprawled on the couch. XY's girlfriend quickly covered up the boyfriend's identity under the pretext that he was her brother. XY fell for it.

To make the long story short, the scammer got pregnant a year ago and the father happens to be the Filipino boyfriend. When XY found out about it, he immediately flew to Manila to confront her. He threatened to sue her if he finds out that she has been cheating on him. He then told her that he'll forgive only if it was a one time thing. The girlfriend obviously lied and said that it was a lapse of judgement which resulted to a one night stand. She gave birth and XY shouldered the expenses. He continues to support her financially especially now that there's a baby in the picture.

I hope that he wakes up from this nightmare. I feel bad for the guy though I'm not in the position to meddle with their affairs.

I'm guilty of having a preconceived notion of people yet over the years, I've overcome that superficiality. One thing I taught myself is self control when it comes to judging people especially upon seeing couples. I always tell myself, "If he/she is with her/him then he must've seen something special in that person like my partner has in me." I know that it sounds silly but that mantra works for me and the malicious thoughts in my head dissipate until I finally detach from it.

I'm proud to say that I've met Filipinas here on VJ who have bona fide relationships with their foreign husbands/fiancés which are fortified with utter love. I know the feeling of being stared at in the malls because my partner is a foreigner. I've learned to ignore it and wink at people who rudely stare. (Kanya-kanya style lang yan. lol.) It seems to work. laughing.gif We can help stop the stigma and prove others wrong.

MABUHAY KAYO! good.gif

One thing I've learned the hard way: when you see people close to you enjoying the misfortune of others, indeed taking the side of the criminal in these stories, then you absolutely must wake up: that's what is in store for you, too. Because you love them, you will make excuses for them when they show their true colors in celebrating the pain of others. You will tell yourself that it is out of character for them, or even convince yourself of their logic: that there are classes of people beneath us who deserve our contempt. They deserve to have crime perpetrated upon them.

They are thinking exactly the same thing about you. Right now.

Later in life in the midst of wondering how they could treat you with such cruelty and callousness, it will strike you: They are treating you the same way you saw them treat others. You will suddenly realize the way they looked down upon the poor, upon those with menial jobs, how they treated animals, family members, etc. relects on their character generally: they look down on everyone. So long as they see you serving your interests they are cunning about manipulating you with flattery and demonstrations of "love". They know where their bread is buttered at work so they can play up to the supervisor with charm and deference. There are other co-workers who do not serve their interests and they are treated much differently. Open your eyes to this.

Con-men have a big advantage over simple and sincere people because they understand two playbooks, not just one: they understand and take advantage of how sincere people think. But they also understand how con-men like themselves think. The sincere and trusting simpleton is operating with one playbook, thinking everyone else is honest and compassionate like themselves.

When the government or the larger society sanctions bigotry and cruelty towards any particular class you will see them in full flower. The Roman Ampitheater was packed with them screaming in delight when it was OK to throw Christians or foreign captives to lions and tigers. In more recent history it was slavery and lynching of blacks and more recently still it is the treatment of Arab peoples. You need to dis-associate yourself from the people approving of sadistic acts whether the government sanctions it or not.

There are heartless girls all over the world pulling scams and the only advice I can give is that you will sense there is something wrong, but you will listen to the lie covering it up instead of listening to your instincts. If you sense there is something amiss - then there is. If you caught them in a lie, then there are more. They are a liar. You are the most important person to never tell a lie to if you are important to them. If the story changes, head for the hills. If they show callousness or cruelty towards anyone or anything - they are callous and cruel.

They have had practice all of their lives at lying, cheating, and getting away with murder. The research is emphatic that this kind of person adopts this behavior in childhood, learning by example. So by the time they are even 16 they can reel off the lie, the cover to the lie, the answer to the questions about the lie and its cover, and the lie to cover the lie to cover the lie. You will mistake this glib capability for truth, because truthful answers need no thought. But what it actually reflects is practice, practice, practice.

That is why, with a professional con-man, you need to really pay attention to your instincts.

Waste none of your precious time trying to change them. Waste no time wishing for retribution or revenge. The only thing you have control over is you. Focus on yourself and how to better equip yourself to avoid being harmed again.
