Quana I am from Guyana and they are the same way. I never let them know when I am coming because the phone calls will start coming. I carry things for them its just things that I can afford. When I get there I get bills (water, phone & Light) from them to pay or I get leave this for me when you leaving. My step father always go to Guyana with 2 suitcase and always come back with a carry on. He gives away everything. But im really glad Roger had a good time and he got to see his family.

yes def a good thing, its all good, if i have it i will try to help my fam too, i wouldn't want him to stop me so im not gonna stop him.. its just wierd to me, i wouldn't feel comfortable asking ppl for money esp if i haven't seen them

Thanks Quana

thats what i would do.. i wouldn't want to wait 1 year for the filing to go thru, they wont be allowed to come back until then..

Question....

My friend just got married to a guy from JA that was on a visiters visa. he has 2 kids the he brought here with him one is in school and one is not. They were olso on a visiters visa. If he sends them back to JA will they be allowed to re-enter since my friend will put them on the I130 petition? They have all over stayed their time.

He should NOT, I repeat not send them to Jamaica until they have got their greencards. Depending on overstay time, they could be subject to a ban as long as ten years. How long did they overstay?

Naturalization

If over 90 days and less than a year, it's a three year ban. Over a year it's a 10 year ban.

They need to stay RIGHT here!

Actually, come to think of it, children under 18 are not subject to overstay implications. Do not accrue illegal presence until after that. BUT, I would still have them stay and leave after AOS.

Sugarapple, hiring someone isn't going to do any good -they aren't going to get anymore info than you already have - What I would start to do is become the biggest pain in the A** to everyone and everything - Call your congressman, senator, blast email the USCIS, NVC, the embassy, DHL,..... anyone and everyone you can get in contact with - Be ruthless about it! Don't just be satisfied with Jo Blo who answers the phone - ask for supervisors -

I fully agree don't these place have supervisors.

Hi Sugar... Yes bajan congrats! What an accomplishment.. She is growing up into young womanhood now...

OMG tell me about it she is bigger tahn I am but that isn't hard to do

Bajan, congrats on your daughter graduation. Your are going to be a pround mama today!

thank you

man I keep trying to catch up so I can reply to dillon but it aint gonna happen before I got to get working. so here goes...

Dillon, I feel your pain on this one :(

After loosing your father, the last thing you need is to be loosing friends over how you are dealing/dealt with your father's death. Anyone who truly loves you will get past their own hurt feelings and think about YOU instead of themselves.

For me it would be hard not to say anything to her...

I would want to know WHY she deleted me as a friend, and if she had the gall to admit it was over how I treated her when MY DAD died, she would have an ear full coming from me t2417.gif

BUT!

Everyone else is right, you should probably let her go and consider it a blessing. (F)

Love you Dills (L)
