dw, no plans really, gonna reclaim my dancehallqueen crown, thats always the plan when i can make plans LOL

try to do something fun with the girls too..since its just us.

my youngest has a love/hate relationship w/ roger, she wouldn't say bye to him yesterday or give him a hug, i don't know if she was playing like they always play or what, but it wasn't nice to me.. my oldest is 13, when roger called for her, she was nonchalant, like bye.. .. i was so embarrassed, i know they are just kids and they prolly really could care less that he is gonna be gone and thats okay, but dyam don't act like it..now i know what my mama went thru, cuz i didn't get my social gene till a couple of years ago LOL

i have work to do teaching them interpersonal skills

Same thing happens with us. And Mikel is so stubborn that if they don't say good-bye or good night even he won't suck it up and say it to them. Ohhhhh and if they don't say good afternoon to him when the get home from school you would think the world ended. Now this is from Marley and Jazz so it might just be a kid thing and not defiant step child thing going on Q. Think about it...we have never had to have such a formal greeting with them for their entire lives. I would always pick Marley up from daycare/school and just start rippin and running with her. Our hello was just seeing each other but now that Mikel is here there is more formality with greetings. Did I just make any sense at all?

Just saw this on another site and thought it was too funny not to share! Gotta love Granny!

We actually aren't married yet. Wedding is set for July 24th, so about a month and a half. Not waiting too long. But I was also pretty set that I wanted a "real" wedding. We are getting married at the Lincoln Park Zoo here in Chicago. Everything is planned and ready to go. Now just waiting on the 24th to get here :) We actually had to move it 3 different times because of how long our K-1 process took!

Hi Yardies (((WAVING))) wah gwannn. What have I missed?

:ot:

My 19 year old daughter is a 36DDD and we are having a very hard time finding swim wear tops. Does anyone know where we can find cute ones. My friend says if we find one in the maternity store or a plus size one she can alter it.

Did you read Sonshyne's experience with Delta? They had serious delays leaving the US cause the pilot forgot his passport!

I had the least problems with Delta. Although, you do feel a bit like cattle in those big ole' planes.

Does anyone have big plans this weekend? unsure.gif

Softball tournament tomorrow. School picnic tomorrow night if we survive tomorrow day. Sunday is my Dad's lodge picnic and a baseball card signing maybe.

Hey Lady C! How are you doing? Y'all enjoying that van?

Try Old Navy online since they have a plus section but only online and also try Lane Bryant. Good luck finding something for her.

I know...I had a girls' night out to go and see "Sex and the City II" and my husband was extra glad to see me when I walked through the door. I was thinking...we need to have more time apart every now and then! yes.gif

Oh...........how was it? And did you dress up for the true SATC experience?

yes..u make PERFECT sense, girl that was a hurdle roger decided not to try and get over a while back, it was the SAME issue.. and i told him we don't greet each other all the time so its gonna be hard to teach them to overnight, but i notice more and more they do talk to me more, when i come in after work its "hey mama", at night its "good night mama" each time roger and i prompt them to say something to him as well and she giggles and says it.. i think she just like to get on his nerves  and vice versa LOL..my oldest is getting better, she speaks to us both pretty much all the time.. he doesn't get mad about it anymore though either way.. he hasn't complained in mnths actually, not even yesterday when he ran my youngest down to give her a hug that she still was reluctant to give.. i just thought that since he was leaving to another freakiung country, they should have been more talkative.

I so loved it and want to go and see it again! I want them to keep it going...yes I did and I plan to dress up when I go and see it again. I can't really decide which was better the first or this one...I love "SATC" so I guess I'm just going to say I love them both, equally!
