mi bex!!! when mi lef dis mawnin, mi lef a "just because" gift for hubby on the dresser...two nice bottles of cologne wrapped up nicely and put into a gift bag...that i spent $150 on!! him and di girls were sleep when mi lef.....him STILL nah call mi and mek mi knoa he like dem or wha!! :angry:

Its wasn't no just because gift what the hell you do and what's bex???

It is nice and encouraging hearing about the job situations, while my husband thinks about joining the service....unsure.gif whatever he does i will support him...

G always say if he was younger he would join too or be a police or fireman. I tell him its not too late but its up to him. I got his back if he does

Yes he can and they will help him file for citizenship. My uncle joined the Navy years ago and this is what they did. I have a friend whos husband came up last summer and he joined the Navy a few months ago. They had to relocate but its all good

He isn't too old to join the military. I think my brother told me after 9-11 they made it so you can join up until you are 45. I am pretty sure that is what he told me when we were talking about it a couple of weeks ago. I did read somewhere to be a police you have to be a US Citizen and pretty sure but not 100% about being a fireman too.

I tell him that all the time. He thinks 30 is old he is crazy. I tease him all the time and call him old man, pops or gramps

Mine also, he even got the free hooded sweat shirt for getting info on the internet :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Im not supporting it because he is smart and can do alot more things in his life he already got hella certificates for heavy equipment I rather he go to school.

Good morning ladies

I hear yall with the hours when hubby got to the states we were looking for anything M-Sunday 12-11:59. Then he got a job working full time but with a temp agency for a nice company. 7pm to 7am some of yall remember that, I was more sad than he was. I would pick him up from work and drop him off at home, and go to work myself and before I came home he was already gone on the bus so he would not be late.

He did that for 4 months non stop and since he was so dedicated and was 30 minutes late one time, and never called in they

1. Hired him full time with the company

2. Switched his hours 7a, to 5:30

3. Gave him Wed, Sat and Sun off

4. Gave him more money

He loves the pay but hates the labor of the job, I tell him thank God you even have a job MR.

He is thankful. I see it

So just have them take what the can for a minute God is in the mix for all these beautiful Jamaican relationships and giving favor :dance: :dance: :dance:
