good morning all ... hope everyone has a great day... My week has been trying my daughter cutting up not wanting to do her chores and stuff slamming doors and stuff... so i recall someone suggesting removal of the door so thats what i did... she cryed i want my door ... mind she is 11 and i know she is testing boundaries cause R is here and of course thatnk god her father and step mom are on the same page with us . (my mom another story).. so hopefully she will get i under control then she had the nerve to throw her glasses and break them.. she got her tail torn up for that on top of everything

really nice love it

Ha ha ha, that was me. I figure until you pay rent you WILL NOT slam any doors in my house. I hope it worked!

You back?

How you doing?

Hugs, Patti. rose.gif

Ya we are back and since I have been back I have been sleeping pretty much all the time. I can't stay awake for nothing. Guess it is because I really never slept much while I was gone. Thanks to everyone for all your support and prayers. Even though I knew it was going to happen and was trying to be prepared this is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through.

Me too! I want something good and fried for dinner!

One question, how many of you on here cook every night for your hubby/S.O.?

I have only cooked twice for my husband since he moved here. He does all the cooking...My daughter also learned real early in life to cook for herself if she wants to eat...lol.

YAY!! Wrestled with myself regarding a booking. When someone calls or emails me regarding a booking, I give them all the info but NEVER call them back to see if they still want to book etc. My philosophy is that if they want the photos done, they'll call me back. A good friend says I should give them that extra push, maybe call back. I decided, no I won't do it.

So anyways, someone called me Monday about booking for today, gave the info, didn't hear anything. Decided against calling.

Last night they messaged me, said that they wanted me for today, they had been stalked by someone else they had asked for prices from! Yay! Glad I wasn't pushy!!

JaEng, I would also lean towards the non-pushy person.

I think some people would go with a pushy person because they feel intimidated, and those feelings would cloud their view of the experience. That has happened to me enough to where I walk away from the overly agressives.

That being said, I don't think you'd be pushy if you did one follow-up, especially it were in an email or text format, where you weren't asking them voice-to-voice for an answer on the spot.

I Facebooked this question, seems most people wouldn't mind one call back.

Was thinking of sending a message after maybe a few days or weeks, depending whether it's a wedding etc, and saying something like. 'It was nice speaking to you a few days/weeks ago, just calling/emailing/text messaging you to touch base and say I would enjoy working with you. Please do give me call if you need any further information!'

I HATE asking for a decision on the spot. I always ask people to check my work out or if it's a wedding to shop around to make sure my style is compatible with the photos they are looking for. PLUS, I know in my area in terms of both quality and price, they are unlikely to find anyone who can offer a better deal.

Guess that's why I chicken out of making a second call just in case they say 'I'm not interested'.

I HATE pushy salespeople with a PASSION!!!
