Hello to all,

I just got an email from the embassy saying that my wife was approved a visa on April 23, 2010 after being on AP for 2 weeks. I just can't believe that after all of the trails and tribulations we have gone through, it is finally happening. I will plan on her arriving may 22 on PAL from Manila to Las Vegas. Thanks you all for the support, God is GOOOOD!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

I'm the wife of an American Soldier;

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

against all that we must face in this world.

:star: Congratz guyz! :star:

Is that a direct flight?

Thanks,

the pal pr106 is basically a direct flight. With only a 2 hour stop in Vancouver, but no plane or gate change. They just get off the plane and remain in the gate until reboarding.

I think that's a good way to go, especially since your sweetheart can stretch her legs for a couple of hours in Vancouver.

Someone in another thread mentioned a direct flight from Manila to Vegas. It was supposed to be a direct flight with absolutely no stops. The poster provided a link for more information about the flight. However, when I followed the link, I could not find any info about the direct flight he was talking about. It seems I have heard about a direct flight somewhere else too. I could not find one on PAL's web site either. Did you find any direct flights to Vegas...with no stops?

Pal only has a non stop flight to USA in Los Angels and San Francisco. Pal has always used Vancouver as a stopping point in the pr 106 route. And since the FAA has downgraded them to category 2,they cannot change or add flights to the US untill they get reinstated.

Yeah...I'm familiar with the non-stops to LA, SF, and Vancouver. I guess there isn't a non-stop from Manila to Vegas, but the flight to Vancouver is a good alternative.

The next time my wife and I go to the Philippines, we will consider going on the Seattle/Vancouver/Manila run. Since PAL does not fly between Seattle and Vancouver, we will simply take one of the puddle jumpers from Seattle to Vancouver. We like the idea of boarding the plane in Vancouver and stepping off of the plane in Manila...non-stop!

Or, we will spend a couple of days enjoying Frisco, and then fly non-stop to Manila.

By the way, why didn't you have her fly PAL's non-stop to SF or LA?
