Hey guys fiance had a question about the i-134 form.

Question 11 the I intend or do not intend to make specific contributions questions.

On the example form I found the person did NOT check any of the boxes and wrote on the lines below N/A (K1 VISA FOR PERMANENT RESIDENT)

Is this what Angelo should put as well and not check any of the boxes

Thanks guys

Also I had another question in regards to Angelo's w2s he doesnt have them anymore since he went and got his taxes done at H&R BLOCK.

They keep the W2.

All he has is his tax return.

Is this ok?

The tax form without the W-2 is NOT OK. I am serious. They will not accept it. That is really bad of H&R Block because every W-2 form has three versions, one to submit with Federal, one for State, and a third for the filer to keep for their own records. He needs to demeand his own copy of the W-2's from now on.

Get a PROPER Tax transcript from the IRS. Do not get the "Account Transcript." It is a shortened one page, no good. You want the regular "Transcript," many pages. Call 1-800-829-1040, follow the voice prompts always listening for "if you want records of your taxes, or eventually you will hear if you need a transcript. Pay attention because they have choices. I think it is number 2 that is the full transcript. Do not need to order the actual form copy which is $57 for each year.

Transcripts are free.

About Question 11, you know it is up to the Consulate's policy and even in some cases that have been posted, up to the mood of the interviewing officer. A few people have posted success using the N/A K-1 etc... answer. I think k it is safer to check "I intend..." and then write on the lines something general like I intend to provide housing, food, clothing and any and everything required for beneficiary <enter your name>

He is calling the IRS tomorrow for his transcripts.

Really for the w2?

I mean if he had his tax return and tax transcripts I would have thought it would be enough plus he is getting a letter from his employer and a couple bank statements.

if he really needs these w2s where should he get them?

Actually Audy said if your fiance has the Transcript - he doesn't need the W2. :)

 Yes, he needs a "tax return transcript". This confusion happens quite frequently when the foreign beneficiary tries to discuss US Tax issues. The I-134 is the US Citizen's responsibility.
