Yah i know that,but why is it that the NVC tells my fiance that the USCIS didn't send the petition yet to them and they don't have it yet and am just so confused that they gave us manila case number already..???

Are you getting mixed up about the NVC with the embassy ?

The NVC is the only one that assigns the MNL case number so they did recieve it from the USCIS. Otherwise you wouldn't have any MNL number. That only comes from the NVC.

The NVC doesn't send it back to the USCIS. NVC sends to Manila embassy. At that point there's some delay in the mail for them to recieve.

As soon as it leaves the NVC manila embassy gets an "electronic copy" you should be able to verify this by calling the embassy and giving them your MNL case number.

At that point you only are waiting for the papers to arrive in manila to schedule interview.

does that make sense ? or do I not understand your question ?

1/11/10 - I-129F sent to California Service Center

1/19/10 - NOA1

2/18/10 - moved and changed address on USCIS site

2/19/10 - touched

3/10/10 - touched

3/10/10 - NOA2, hardcopy recieved 3/12

4/28/10 - Interview - Approved

7/8/10 - received SSN Card

7/16/10 - reported US marriage for RP records

10/18/10 - AOS delivered in Chicago

10/25/10 - NOA1

11/04/10 - Biometrics Letter Received

11/23/10 - Biometrics Completed

11/24/10 - touched

02/14/11 - AOS approved at Interview, GC ordered

02/22/11 - GC arrives in mail

ROC Timeline:

12/17/12 - I-751 sent to California Service Center

12/20/12 - NOA1 arrives in mail

4/11/13 - RC Approved at Interview

4/22/13 - 10 Year Green Card arrived in mail

SORRY to get you confused too,and all you've written make sure a lot of sense!We will sure call embassy again to follow up,Its just that i just wanna figure out why NVC gives us MNL case number last april 12 and now my fiance talked to NVC employee and she is telling my Fiance they didn't even received our case from USCIS... :lol: Sorry for you got confused with my posts..its like I'm asking you can NVC gives you a case number if they do not get your packet yet from USCIS???Thanks for the advices anyway..I appreciate it so much1

oh well my LOVE is done calling the embassy today and they say no record still :( but what can we do that's LIFE!!!hahaha :lol: I will just enjoy taking care of our baby for now and wait...and wait....and more waiting... :angry:

The next time we call NVC and they still say our Papers are still in USCIS,do you think its ok that we contact USCIS to ask what is happening with our case?So confused :bonk: The woman my fiance talked to said they were able to provide us our Manila case number coz they once received our case last dec.but just sent it back to USCIS for review...WHAT???? :lol:

OH GOD I MISS HIM... :crying:

I'm looking at your timeline... It's about 10-14 days from the day NVC sends it to when it's actually in their system.. They're even running a bit slower now than before.. So maybe 26-April it should be entered.. (but you can of course keep calling)

YAH,and i just had a flood of tears while talking to my fiance 2 hrs ago..Its so unfair :angry: but like what you said keep calling,,that's what they say call on the 26or 27..

I completely understand.. I'm going to visit Milagros next week, and I'm already dreading leaving her again for the 60 days before she comes here for good.. She started crying in HK back in January and it just brought me to tears in the middle of the airport.. It's not easy, but soon it will all be over..
