Hello everybody ,

Please anybody have any experience about that.

I recieved a letter from my Local office statting that my Interview descheduled due to unforseen reason.

did anybody heard about this ? and what if I just show up in my original interview date?

How long u think it will take to scheduled anther interview.

I appreciate your help .

February 01, 2010 Filed N-400 Citizenship.

February 08, 2010 Check Cashed.

February 10, 2010 NOA.

February 17, 2010 RFE Email.

February 22, 2010 Biometric Letter Received.

March 03, 2010 Biometric done.

March 13, 2010 Yellow Letter Received.

March 23, 2010 Email ( case transferred to local office for interview.

March 25, 2010 Interview Letter Arrived.

April 29, 2010 Interview (Rescheduled)

May 24, 2010 Interview (Passed)

June 17, 2010 Oath Letter Received

July 14, 2010 Oath Date ...........

July 14, 2010 DONE

Yes, it happened to me.

Had no idea why, but two weeks later I received another interview letter. It's probably nothing. Just some scheduling issue.

I would recommend going anyway, if possible. I thought I heard (can't remember which step of the process) about someone running into problems for not going to a cancelled interview that somehow wasn't really cancelled....

I-751 approval date 25 Sept 2009 (no updates on the system - still says 'received'/"initial review")

19 Oct 2009 - got text message "card production ordered"

24 Oct 2009 - actual card in the mail box!

sent his N-400 - 14 May 2010

check cashed 27 May 2010

NOA received 29 May 2010 (dated 24 May)

Biometrics Appointment Letter received 17 June 2010

Biometrics scheduled for 08 July 2010; walk-in successfully done in Philadelphia 07 July 2010

02 Oct 2010 - FINALLY got email saying the case was being transferred to the local office. Hoping to get his interview letter soon...

05 Oct 2010 - received interview letter!!!!

08 November 2010 - scheduled for N-400 interview

- went together for interview; file isn't there - need to wait to be rescheduled

Jan 2011 - went for Infopass

25 Feb 2011 - interview

19 April 2011 - Infopass

8 July 2011 - HE'S FINALLY A CITIZEN - WOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think for a citizenship application I would wait until you got another interview date rather than attending this one in the supposition it really wasn't cancelled. There is no harm that comes to you for 'failing to show up' for a citizenship interview the way there is when you have an AOS or Removal of Conditions interview. You are still a permanent resident and your status doesn't change. If the interview deschedule letter is in error, you will receive another letter asking why you didn't show up and you would obviously send them a copy of the de-schedule letter. Yo would have no problems. At this level of the Immigration process, however, I suspect that the interview actually was descheduled and you will receive another appointment very soon.

If i didn't receive rescheduled letter in this coming week , I will go anyway and see what's going on my application.
