Two I-864 questions

So the NVC has our approved case, email addresses, ect, they emailed me Choice of Agent form with our case# and barcode. My wife signed it, appointed me as address and agent and we emailed it back to the NVC.

Now I am filing out the I-864..

Two questions..

Part 2. Information on the principal immigrant.

It is asking for my wife's address. Is this her address in her country where she is now or my address here where she will live when she moves here?

Or is it my address here because I am the assigned address and agent?

I was looking at the example I-864 form on this web site and the sponsor filing used their current address for their beneficiary.

Next question..about Sponsors Household size

Part 3. Information on the immigrant(s) you are sponsoring.

It is just myself and my wife...2 people..and it says don't count anyone twice.

8. [X] I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above.

10. Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part 3, Items 8 and 9. = 01

Then I get down to Question 21 A through F

Enter the number you entered on line 10. = 01

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit= 01

b. Yourself.

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse= 01

Add together lines and enter the number here. Household Size: 3???

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Mark

Put "0" in 10 ©. Read very carefully.

10 © is listed under persons NOT sponsered in this affidavit.

That should get you back to 2.

For address - her current address where she is residing in her home country.

The example form you are looking at here on VJ is for the filing of AOS after entry into the US (for example from a K-1 or K-3 visa).

Bernie,

I am reading the section you are talking about all falls under Part 3

Part 3. Information on the immigrant(s) you are sponsoring.

8. I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above.

I checked Yes for 8

9. Nothing to enter here

10. Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part 3, Items 8 and 9.

That comes out to 1
