My fiance worked in Saudi Arabia for 14ths, from 1999 to 2000....I checked on the website http://travel.state.gov/visa/reciprocity/C...audi_Arabia.htm

and it says he has to be there in person to get it, then lower it says "Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom."

Does this mean he will have trouble obtaining clearance from Saudi Arabia, and if so....what do we do? How do I find out the steps for obtaining this clearance? I'm really confused by all of this

thanks for any help u can give me, I really appreciate it!

He doesn't need to get a police clearance from Saudi Arabia. My fiance also worked in Saudi Arabia for 4 years and he is from the Philippines also, but I read it somewhere (just can't find that link now that I need it) that he is not required to get a police clearance anymore.

If ill see that link, I'll post it here.

I would get the police clearance. My fiance had everything she needed except the police clearance from Saudi Arabia at the interview, they told her to come back with the police clearance! We had tried the police in the area she was staying in saudi but we found out you have to submit it to dubai. She had contacted the Saudi embassy in Manila and you have to send it with DHL. I do not remember the address it is on a US gov link, it is also on the website www.asawa.org. Anyway she got the police clearance about 2 week later and then submitted it to the embassy. We are not waiting for her to receive the visa, it has been about a month so far. HAVE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AT INTERVIEW!!!
