People are beginning to notice that CSC is no emailing answers to questions that we are wanting to know about our petition. Therefore, I think they are sending this email to state that they will be responding to your inquiry - sounds like through the mail (not too sure). Did you email them about the status on your case recently?

Oh, and I would get the Captain to delete your receipt number from your OP

I got the same pre-packaged and hermetically sealed response today, too Icey. I got CSC yesterday and rasied hell and today I got a touch on the case and the exact same email. I would like to think it means the case is being handled by a real, live person with a brain on daily basis. But I can only guess. I kept getting touches each time I called last month about the RFE because they screwed up and left out a page. Each time I called to have them send it again, they updated my case status and sent out the canned email about "On blah blah day we sent a request for evidence" again. So maybe they are actually doing something useful for once. Best of luck honey, I know you've been waiting so long. :luv:

They're rude too!

Amen to that sistah! The woman I talked to yesterday must've had some giant waterbug up her buttookus. As if it wasnt bad enough having to go through 7 full minutes of discouraging prompts JUST to get to a dang rep, then begin given the 3rd degree (are we priveleged enough to be allowed to speak on the phone with them?), just to get some butterhead moron on the other end. Arggh! Im right there with ya hon! I started drafting a letter today for my state reps, this stuff needs to be addressed.
