Could someone please double check our map? Vancouver consulate & Working Medical

My fiance is trying to prepare with maps for when he gets there in two weeks...

A = Burrard Inn

1144 Burrard St

Vancouver, BC

B = Medical

1144 Burrard St

Vancouver, BC

(assuming this is in building 1144, and in like, suite #250 ??)

C = US Consulate

1095 W Pender St

Vancouver, BC

He'll be using the skytrain from the airport, and walking the rest of his journey.

I know the maps should do it, but confirmation can't hurt right? >.<

Yes, that's right. The walk is not far at all, between the places. There will probably be people in front of US consulate when he gets there, so he won't miss it. And it's on the right side of the Pender street. Edit: But he doesn't have to go on Hornby, he can just go straight down on Burrard and turn left on Pender

That's quite a far walk!

I'd go to the bustop on Burrard Street in front of the Burrard Skytrain station and catch the #22 MacDonald bus. About 7 stops later, get off in front of St. Paul's hospital and walk.

It's about a 10 minute walk (15 at most), very doable. I walked from Woking to the consulate 3 times and I didn't think it was far at all

Yeah the walk is not bad at all especially if the weather is nice but hey if he gets lost just get him to flag down a cab.

It's an easy walk. He'll get to pass the trendy Robson St. area too, though he'll be a block away from the two large Starbucks kitty-corner to each other. Awww.

I dont think its that long of a walk! I have walked a lot of downtown Vancouver, and that doesn't look too bad.

Burrard Inn to Woking Medical. //Half a block. Show up for medical

Woking Medical to Travel Clinic (W Georgia & Burrard). //Medical finished, go get TDap shot for inclusion in vaccination list in medical report

Travel Clinic back to Woking Medical //Give them proof of TDap shot

Woking Medical to Consulate //Show up for interview

Consulate to Woking Medical //Interview approved pending medical. Go pick up medical results

Woking Medical to Consulate //Give medical results to Consulate. Approved.

Consulate to Burrard Inn. //Done walking. Order pizza, go to bed.

Woking Medical to the US Consulate is 15 minutes at a brisk walk, 20 if you mosey somewhat. I had beautiful weather, but make sure you've got a good jacket and head covering if it's raining. In that situation, I'd have seriously considered dropping some cash on cab fare for one or more of the legs, particularly the last 3, after the first visit to the consulate, around 2-3 pm, when time becomes a consideration.
