So I told my uncle who brought his fiancee over in 2008 that I got my NOA2 and all is good so far, he helped me out on a checklist but there is one thing that confuses me, does my fiancee need to pay for something with DELBROS for a NSO cert to be sent to the EMBASSY ? Will someone enlighten me on this, its really confusing me,

thanks

your fiancee would have to go to NSO and get a Certificate of No Marriage for her interview at the embassy. But there is no DELBROS anymore because I heard that it delayed some processing in the embassy and so they just removed it fairly recently. I was lucky that during my interview, the DELBROS thing has been removed already.

good luck on your visa journey.

I don't know whether or not the NSO puts an expiration date on a CENOMAR, but I doubt it. Most likely, a CENOMAR is good for only as long as the USEM says it's good. I don't think the USEM has a time limit on the age of a CENOMAR, but it's probably a good idea to submit a recent one at the interview.

It looks like you guys will have your interview in May or June. By then, your CENOMAR will be well over six months old. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't take a chance...I would get an updated CENOMAR.
