Are you talking about it not being filled in all the way, or the signature is the the surname? It has to have the full name on it. It is a legal document. The way the signature is on it, has to be the way they normally sign (nothing saying you have to sign first and last name....or full first name)

Yes it should be his full name. On all the documents I typed my name like this - WILKINS, Kevin H. - last name all caps, and I sign my name Kevin H. Wilkins. Also, it should be fine for you to type and print a new one. As long as his original signature is on the correct page and that page is done correctly, you can do the others :)

Yeah, if it is only the that page, I would do as Kevin says...just type up the that page again the correct way and print it out. there isnt that much info on the that page anyway.

The embassy will want to see the original NSO certified birth certificate printed on NSO paper. The only ones that ask for original divorce decrees or the nuns at St Mary's CFO.

Best to have original BCs of both of you.

NSO CENOMAR for you also.

GOOD idea to have about 3 of your original NSO BCs for the future also.

During your interview, the prescreener and the consul officer at the USEM will not ask you to submit the petitioner's birth certificate. The petitioner already submitted the birth certificate when the petitioner sent the K-1 packet to USCIS. If, for some reason, the USEM asks you to submit the petitioner's birth certificate, it would be OK to submit a copy.

Good luck with your interview...(it's easier than you think!) :star:

"The petitioner already submitted the birth certificate"

Not the original tho. Best to have it a the interview.

Never know what they will ask for. Case by case and CO by CO.
