Does anyone know what will happen if my fiancee moves while we're waiting for the paperwork to clear? Right now, her family is between addresses(they're renting one place while rebuilding a house to move to). Should she wait until she's all moved in or wait until she gets her package from the consulate? Will an adress change slow things down?

I just moved yesterday. That is all Ineed - another slow-down.

I don't think it is a problem though. I think I read on here once that you can either call USCIS with her new address, or she can contact the consulate after approval with her new address.

Maybe someone who has done this can respond to you for sure. My plan is to wait until approval and let the embassy know where they can send Package 3 to....

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

13/04/07 - marriage

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

02/17/07 - AP and EAD arrive

03/03/08 - Infopass - where the heck is my AOS interview?? No one knows!

I don't think it would slow things down. She can contact the consulate and let them know about her new address, I guess.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
