Do we need to provide the Annulment decree?

As what I have PM'd you, we checked the Divorced box and beside it we wrote (ANNULLED)...i got this tip from one member of the ASAWA forum (Philippines)..they did this during their application...and it worked...she got the visa...I don't know if this would be ok in Singapore...however, in the Philippines, it is. What is important, however, both partners would be able to establish that they are legally free to marry. As to the definition of terms by Ziggy, I agree with him (Single - Never Married)... that's why we chose Divorced (Annulled).

Same goes to the biographic information G-325A where information on your prior spouse is asked. Right?

From what I understand, you will need to put "divorced" since you were previously married. Same goes with the G-325A where information on your prior spouse is asked. You will also need to submit the annulment decree papers.

We received RFE because my fiance failed to submit the complete divorce decree paper so he requested a Certified True Copy from the courthouse and sent them back to USCIS.

My divorce decree was something like 20-pages long... with all of the terms and legal-ease... the pages were not numbered so I submitted the first page, and the last page with all of the signatures. In reading the two pages, they flowed quite well, so I submitted those two pages and did not receive an RFE.

(The only RFE I received was due to IMBRA)

I would not recommend such action, though... I did that at my own discretion.

having known this would be a question in my mind after relyn gets annulment my thought would be to still check "divorced" and write next to it in parenthesis "annuled". hey is there one "n" or two. or one "l" or two......i can never get that one right. no idea where dictionary is. lol.

This is not that confusing to me at all, I'd mark it 'single' and attach a continuation page explaining that your previous marriage was annulled and a copy of the annullment. Then you've got all your bases covered. When they do the background check, and if you filed tax returns, things like that with a former spouse, they may come back with an RFE for an explanation. Better to tell then upfront IMHO and save yourself a possible delay.
