DS-230 & AOS

I'll try to keep it short...

I just mailed out both the DS-230 & AOS package together but in different folders (Very well organized and neat as I did with the I-130 which was approved in 2.5 months).

How long does the Moroccan Consulate take to schedule an interview???

A few things I am a bit worried about:

1) I did not put "N/A" in the "Middle Name" field on the DS-230, I left it blank.

2) I did not write my wife's name on the back of the passport pictures.

3) I did not file my taxes for 2008 because I was a dependent on my parents' tax forms... Student.

4) I did not include any proof of a bonafide relationship (emails, phone calls, chats, etc...) other than the Marriage Cert., (Did not include these in the I-130 either).

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure the evidence of bona fides is carried to the interview and that your spouse is thoroughly prepared for the interview. No Moroccan Consulate will have anything to do with your process. It will be the US Embassy's Consular Immigrant Visa unit in Casablanca.

My mistake, I meant US Consulate in Morocco... She has pictures of our "little" Marriage party that was held at her home in Casablanca, I didn't want to do anything big until she came here.... most of her family members live here in Connecticut...

How long do you think it will take to get an answer from NVC regarding my DS-230 & AOS (My parents as Joint Sponsors within the same household)

possibly a projected date for an interview???

You can attempt to sign in to the payment portal about 8 business days after they've received your packages. Also check the AVR that there are no RFEs. Once when you can no longer sign in, it means that your case has completed processing at NVC. Confirm with an operator/AVR.

NVC will schedule your appointment date and both the petitioner and beneficiary will be notified via email.
