hi guys please help us we're waiting for NOA2 for so long, we filed our case last November 16,2009 but we don't have any news from USCIS regarding our case. It's been a long time and this coming April 16 will be our 5th month.

I would have your congressman check into it. Look up the website for your congressman and they usually have an online form. And they have staff that spend their whole day responding to requests like these. You're almost at the 5 month mark, that's when USCIS says how long you should wait before contacting them regarding your case.

Have you involved your congressman or senator?I think it would be a good thing to do if you haven't yet.

thank you, i think it will help us a lot. Actually we're planning to do call a senator for a help. and you're right i read about that we have to wait for our 5th month before we call USCIS again. but hopefully they will give us a feedback. hi guys is it possible that we can trace or track our papers going to US embassy, coz until now they don't have it in their hand. Is there anyone who can give us contact number where we can trace it. Coz it's been a week now but it's not yet arrive. thank you

Congratz on the NOA2! In order to track properly, you'll need to know when NVC actually sends your petition to the embassy. You'll need to call NVC and for K1 Visa, you must talk to a real person, because the automated voice response doesn't work for K1's. When you finally get through to an operator (they are ALWAYS busy), you can ask for your petition status. They only can tell you a few scripted responses....they can tell you if they received it....they can say if and when they shipped it...they can give you your embassy case number...and they can tell you if your case is in Additional Processing. So, in order to track you'll need date shipped. Also get the embassy case number if you can.
