Hey i have been away from VJ for a little while, trying to stay positive while waiting for my interview to come, i'm getting sooo depressed to be away from my fiancé hehe! Who's been logged in? Who is still waiting to get logged? I just want a little update of what's going on here :)

Have u guys thought about the affidavit of support that the USC has to file? With evidence of support? My fiancé told me yesterday all he has for tax transcripts is a PDF on turbotax, i wonder if he just print that if it's enough... So stressful all that!! :wacko:

Hi AandB welcome back:) As for taxes...I think my fiance will be printing out the same thing for previous tax proof. We are going to confirm all that later this week when he comes up for a visit:) I hear ya, as this process is winding down I find myself missing my man more and more!! Can't wait to start new life in USA!!

On a side note as for myself I haven't been logged in yet...waiting for it any day now. In fact I think I'll make a quick call this AM...:)

AandB: Chris has a form we found on here and you send it to the IRS and they send you an official tax receipt. Make sure there is no water mark when he prints out his slip off Turbotax... Chris' had a water mark so we had the IRS send a tax receipt to him. It takes like two weeks to get them back...

Nope to logging of Packet 3 yet today. I'm getting impatient, even though its only been a week :bonk:

Just eager to get this all going I suppose, sigh.... :innocent:

It took 20 some days from when my fiance' mailed his packet 3 to when it was logged. Good luck waiting.

Alright, just relapsed and called again... No interview date yet. I know it's normal, I guess I'm just that ####### about stuff like that! How long can it be to look at a file and give an interview date, right? Grrr...

Wishing, one more sleep!!! Gosh, you're lucky! I have to wait another 8 days until I see my luv again! Maybe you'll get logged in while he's here, it'll give you a reason to celebrate! Not that we need any, but...

I think so far waiting for an interview we have:

i haven't called to see if its been logged yet. i'm going to wait a full two weeks before i call.

i think about this process, including moving/money/generally missing orfee like crazy all day, every day and have been for well over a year at this point - i know that i love this site, it is comforting to know so many other people are in the same situation.

so we just keep telling ourselves, one day closer.

i just got approved for the townhouse i was trying to rent, so at least i now have our future home secured. one of a million things down ; )

i'll let you guys know as soon as i call (my pet peeve is in complete timelines! come on people i need to compare!)

Mah hahahaha I am soo addicted to calling DOS too...ok I'll admit it I called two times today, yes twice. :help:

Mostly because I didn't really like how unhelpful the first person was hehe. Oh well it calms my need to a daily fix of knowing whats going on. I'll try and break tomorrow...will try.

And better yet Vero I was wondering how long the "i'm not going to call today" post you said earlier, I was just impressed with your show of restraint! Hehe that didn't last, I love it!! :rofl:

Good Morning!

Wishing: You know, every day I wake up and think "alright, no calling today, just wait until Friday, blah blah blah", but then it'S 3 o'clock, and I'm like, gee, what if they gave me a date today and wait until Friday to find out?!? It's a good think I started running a month ago, because I don't know what I'd do with all this extra stress!!!

AandB: I hear you! It's weird because now is the shortest wait we all have to go through. We've gone through so much longer before not knowing anything, approval, logged, visits, etc... Well in my case anyways! And it's as if because we know we're gonna be back soon, time goes SO MUCH slower... Chris is coming next week, and now I wish he'd be here longer than 5 days... But it's better than nothing! I swear to God though, after my interview, I'll be packed and ready to go! If I get my visa on a Tuesday, I'm booking my flight for the following day! I'm so impatient now, I don't want to think about when the interview is done and I'm waiting on the visa in mail...

You know I was thinking the other day, what do people do that file for a visa and don't know about this site? I got so much info on here that you can't get nowhere else. Imagine the stress they must be putting on themsleves! At least we can share, and vent and support one another.

Alright, enough rambling... And I will TRY my best to wait until Friday to call. Yeah, yeah, your heard me! A 3 days break. I'm quiting cold turkey until then, haha!

Keep us posted everyone! I have a feeling those of you who are waiting to be logged will be before next week!
