i am sure VSC has more cases than CSC, there are more states sending papers to VSC than to CSC. but they have started moving faster... hey everybody! we are gonna get our NOA2 in June! all of us and

Going to Bogotá in September. If we haven't heard anything about an NOA2 by then, I might just work on staying there and scrap the K1 in favor of a CR1 later...

Hey Ryna,

I do understand how you feel, but think twice before scrapping the K1 in favor of a CR1. If you have waited this long, my suggestion will be to wait and get the K1 process going. Starting CR1 is just another long process.

One thing, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Wish you all the best and hope the NOA2 comes your way soon.

And, I definitely don't want to scrap the K1 process, I just have to think about the big picture. We're not kids and don't have time to play any immigration games with Uncle Sam if we want to realize our goals as a couple. They way I see it is, that if we hit the 5-mo mark without an NOA2, we need to start making plans to marry and live there and deal with the CR-1 (or IR-1) later. At least we'd be together. The good news(?) is that the K1 wouldn't officially be scrapped until we did marry, so during the time spent prepping for a wedding there (and it would be several months minimum), the process would continue and could possibly be the first to go through allowing us to proceed as originally planned. Otherwise, we start our life together in Colombia... the key word being 'together'
