I know what you mean about uscis.gov. I wonder if they count the number of times you check per day? And, then, hold it against you!

Seriously, I hope you hear something really soon. The wait is bad enough one time and I know you're on your second round!

Just an fyi the USCIS site isnt always that helpful.....I too filed my 1-129F in April to VSC and well my little bubble still states "inital review" but found out via a letter in June that it had been sent to the consulate...

Hope you get your NOA2 soon, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I'm sure you remember the time a few months ago when the system was down for 2 or 3 days and was telling everyone that they had been banned for 'excessive' use. At first, I really thought so..

Since I thought we had a fairly easy, open and shut case for our petition - went there to see her 3 times in the three months prior to filing, no previous marriages, no kids, 'No' to all the IMBRA stuff, she's never been to the US or applied for a visa before, etc. - I'm starting to run through my mind every, and most remote, possibility for the delay:

Common F, M and Last Name - MANY people to check and eliminate

Don't believe that there are no previous marriages and that we checked 'Single' to avoid hassle of obtaining divorce decrees and they are looking for a secret ex-wife

Lost petition and don't know who we are

Adjudicator hoarding petitions in his basement.. Who knows?

Oh well, we have one more day in this week. I really hope we all hear something today!

And thanks, Kenny, for your support. Hope all goes smoothly for you in Bogotá.

my petition was returned cause the consul thinks we dont have a valid relationship. I been with my fiance 2 years.. visit brazil 3 times.. and we pretty much "lived" together in the US. I had a truckload full of proof that the consul did not even want to look at. Anyway. thats my story.

oh ryna sorry I had no idea that happend a few months back that everyone got banned of exessive use.

since we now know that the petitions dont go in order they are received I am starting to believe that are sitting on someones desk, while the

Adjudicator is sipping away on his coffee.

My case could be just sitting there cause I had my petitions merged together, and my new petition is rather huge cause we submitted ALOT of evidence in there. But the funny thing is it was touched on 7.16... and nothing since... so we do know its there.. LOL

Of course, being the weekend, I haven't heard anything else but I feel really good today because I booked my next visit to Colombia.

I sure hope this is the week for the rest of us. I would love to go down there next month already knowing when my following trip (for the interview) will be.
