Awww (hugs) that was me a week ago yesterday. But my RFE was incredibly simple and we were able to answer it the next day - in fact the Fedex with the RFE was delivered back to VSC this afternoon. I feel your disappointment (I cried last week) but fingers crossed its a very easy and quick fix like ours was.

Thanks so much carebare - ahhhhhh - this is so disappointing and depressing. but thank u..its a great relief to know that someone gone through this and saying it is simple - hoping and praying it will be very easy for us to fix to.

Chin up Greeny - I was a massive ball of upset when I saw on the website we had an RFE - and I was a tonne of nerves waiting for the RFE to arrive in Ted's mail (got the email notification on the Wednesday, didnt get the RFE in the mail until Monday) and do you know what - all it was was that they wanted a full copy of Ted's divorce document as we had only provided the first 3 pages (not realising page 46 was the one that had all the official looking stamps on it lol).

Obviously your RFE will be for something different but it is fixable and not the end of the world so turn that frown upside down and look forward to getting it answered and back into the waiting process with the rest of us lol.

Yes, its not the end of the world..thanks so much for cheering me up... i am actually feeling better now coz my fiance is so calm and telling me that we will fix whatever it is....and he said that at least we know that USCIS is looking and working on our papers so that's actually a good news.

I'll be following your posts see if you'll get your NOA2 after they received ur response. God bless us and goodluck to us all who are in the waiting mode.

I felt like I was obligated to sign up to #1 thank all of you for all of your helpful incite to the process and #2 to tell you that I just checked my status and as of June 16th my NOA2 was issued. I have been looking at this thread from the start and sometimes I feel like I was stealing information. With that said, my NOA1 was issued on April 22nd. So all of you who are still waiting please keep your head up. They are working on it. My wait time was less than 60 days. Now I have to look up some other posts about the next step. I was so worried about the NOA2 that I forgot about the the rest of the steps. Thank you so much all!!! Best of luck!!!

THAT'S THE ATTITUDE we all need! you get an RFE - you know at least they are working on your case! and they are not gonna ask for something you can't get! you'll be fine!

Thanks everyone!...still in shock i think. Does anyone know estimated times for when we can expect to be able to enter us on the k1 now that we are this far?...trying to plan the wedding and as you all know that is not going to be easy!

Well it depends how far out your consulate will schedule the interwiew, you should check that in Canada regional forum.Good luck with the rest and thank you, hope we will get our NOA2 soon also!

My NOA1 date is 4/21 so this gives me some hope that I'll hear something about my NOA2 within the next week. I would love to receive the good news while I'm visiting my fiancée.

Well I have done some checking in some of the other forums and have discovered that some other people who have received their NOA2 either on that same date or a day or two after. So it is coming soon for you I think cause I hope a RFE would have been asked for by now.

I hope you're right. Our case should be pretty straight-forward - no previous marriages to deal with, etc. I'm hoping this cuts down on the time to our NOA2 (and that there is no RFE coming our way!)

Latest emailed received from USCIS reads:

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On June 17, 2010, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. So yay very happy that the RFE was dealt with so quick and the case processing is no longer suspended. So to whoever do get RFE's remember its not the end of the world Now back to waiting for that NOA2.
