Can any of my Jamaican friends tell me when my husband go for his police record it said he needs to take a fee receipt WHAT IS THAT? And can he get the police certificate back express same day. Thanks

The payment and the pickup is done at two different sites. The payment is made at NCB Towers, New Kingston. If my memory serves me correctly they don't accept plastic and you can either do the express 3 working day service of $3000 or the 30 days service of $1000. He will take the receipt of payment to C.I.B. Headquarters, East Queen Street, Kingston and apply for the certificate. He must have a valid passport or they won't issue it. Please verify the fee amount, my husband did his in November 2009.

Yes he pays 1st, my husband just went and has his completed on Wednesday and they told him that it'll be ready on Monday, so I'm praying he mail me back everything so that I could send the DS-230 to NVC and pray we get a May Interview.

For his application, he will need:

his valid passport

two identical passport-size photographs

a tax payer registration number (TRN)

pay the applicable fees. Fees are $1000JMD (normal 4 weeks service) or $3000JMD (express 3 business days) Note that Fees are subject to change but my husband did his 2 weeks ago and they haven't changed.

You will be issued a receipt, which you must then bring to:

My husband went on Monday then returned on Thursday....tell him to go early as there is a long line.

Thank we got it back already but it took us a week because of the easter holiday in JA. I already sent off his DS230 so we are hoping to get a May interview.
