Picking up K1 Visa at Dedex in Kiev

I've seen this topic touched on briefly but I wondered if anybody had knowledge or experience picking up the k1 Visa at the

Fedex office in Kiev instead of having it delivered.

Yes, it is. And yes we have experience with this. You can choose pick up at the Fedex office as a "delivery option". We did this with our son's K-2. Worked perfectly, it was there in 2 days. The only thing that didn't work perfectly was they were supposed to send us a text message that it was there, they did not. We just went to the office two days later and it was there.

We picked up my passport with a visa at the main Fedex office in Kiev. It was the easiest and fastest way to get a passport than waiting for a courier at home . You can call them if your passport has come there from Embassy or not.

That's probably the best way to go.

We can't stay in Kiev so we'll have to schlep back to Kharkov and wait there.

We did that. Two days after the interview I believe it was ready. We returned stateside straightaway.
