The title is from a hadith of the Prophet (saws). It primarily relates to dressing well and presenting yourself in a good manner in public, but it can also be applied to the beautiful things that are in this world.

My stress level has been elevated as of late, so I thought, what calms me down? Seeing beauty in the world, among fellow human beings, etc.

Please post the beautiful things you see in the world. I would ask that we please not post semi nude/nude pictures of people, as this thread did start with a hadtih. Thanks :luv:

One of my favorite places in the world is Grand Teton National Park. I am really hoping, inshaAllah, once my husband and I get our finances under control, that we can make a trip out here. I haven't been backpacking in such a long time. I've almost forgotten what it's like to be miles from anyone, surrounded by the trees, and having the mountains towering over head.

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

I must say I do love the outdoors and find it to be one of the most beautiful creations. But I think that all beauty starts in the womb.

12/20/06- APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (4 months!)

01/03/06- PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD RECIEVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YAY!!!

Thanks to all the contributions so far. I need to get away *sigh*

Another place I love is Olympic National Park in Washington. I spent a summer there in high school fixing up trails and living 10 miles from the nearest road. I miss the solitude.
