I think this week will very critical for all of us!

Happy to see the date in writting! I was so nervous & excited when the operator told me over the phone that I though maybe I wrote the date down wrong.

I noticed something, I don't know if true or I'm just getting crazy!

Are they scheduling interviews in the embassy alphabetical order?

Melody--Forgive me for speaking so bluntly, but as a white woman with three kids from a presumably previous marriage, you can almost be sure that Amit will be put into extra AP at Delhi. They are notorious with the 221g over there.

Mentally prepare for it. If you do get by without the AP, well, then, hey! That's great. Goodluck! I will keep you in my prayers!

In case anyone was interested, Indian consulates ranked in terms of difficulty based on general consensus:

CHENNAI (Easy peazy)

MUMBAI (Moderate but a stickler for paperwork)

NEW DELHI (Hellish)

DS-230-II is says This form is not necessary for this application

What does that mean? They will have the one that he sent to NVC or?

Tatyana -- He will need a new updated DS230, part I and II to submit to VFS for Mumbai.

What that checklist says is kind of irrelevant since it is dependent on the consulates themselves.

Yeah... I'm so afraid something goes wrong that we decided we won't buy the tickets to US until we have the visa in hand.

I'm already nervous about the interview!!!
