March 17th shipment from NVC to Manila ?

Just wondering if anyone else was in the March 17th DHL shipment from NVC to USEM Manila ?

I saw it was recieved delivered yesterday. (March 22nd Phil. time)

When I called today to try to schedule an appointment they said that they had only the electronic record and had not recieved the papers yet.

Anyone else from the March 17th NVC shipment call yet or get any different answer ?

I wanted to talk to them about scheduling our interview in a few weeks. The girl said because they don't have our papers yet to wait for up to 2 weeks for my fiancee to get the letter that they have our case and she can schedule an interview.

Anyone else ? Is this correct ?

How long before they have the record that they have the paper file ?

Well, mine was sent out on 16 March and they received it on 19 March. I called today (23 March there of course) and they had an interview for us. They said they sent out the interview letter on monday (22 March). My case was expedited through the NVC, so I dont know if that had anything to do with it or not. I would try to call them back tomorrow or the next day. Good luck!

I'm sure it's not me. Last Friday they said I was in AP...now they are saying I'm not in AP anymore and should be shipping this week...but she couldn't say for sure if our petition would go to MNL this week....she just said..."it should." She said, there's no flags. We'll see.....

Ohhh I read somewhere...it takes them a week or so to get your hardcopy file into their cue and be ready for interview.

ok, maybe I just need to wait a couple more days for them to process it in the system there. Even though when I called I couldn't setup interview yet it sort of made me feel good they already have the electronic record when I gave them our case number.

I think I will wait a few days and call them again

yeah...i was looking at Charlie & Pam's timeline and basically theirs was received by the embassy on a friday and he called on the following wednesday to schedule the interview...so approximately 3-4 business days after receiving it. Ours was the only package in the shipment (shipment showed 1 LB). Hang in there..you will have an interview set up soon.

So the general consensus is wait about 3-4 days to schedule the interview? I believe my package arrived yesterday at the embassy... So I guess I'll hold off until Friday..

When you say they sent the interview schedule who does this? NVC or the actual Manila Embassy? And I would think that they are sending the schedule to Milagros (beneficiary)?

For a K-1 you have to call (the embassy)schedule the interview from what the guides and the embassy site say. Of course the embassy site says to wait until you get a letter.
