My husband had his interview this morning, he was given his passport back along with a 221g.

The interviewer asked him questions like, where is your wife from, show me a picture of your daughter, what date did your wife visit Morocco and where did you meet. When they were complete he gave my husband back hi passport and a 221g, asked for his phone number said they will call him when his visa is ready to keep the line open because they could call back anytime.

Can anyone tell me if this doesn't look good, is this normal, bad or good?

If they said they would call when the visa is ready sounds like it went well but a little confused about the 221g... Do you know exactly what the 221g said? Did they request any additional information?

Would be helpful to know more about what the 221g states.

Hi!

I think the 221g, from what I've read here, is the AP/AR notice many get when coming from MENA countries. Don't know much more about it as we didn't experience it. However, sounds like it was a typical interview - good luck! (F)

May 11, 2010 - text message stating application received

May 13, 2010 - NOA1 for AOS

May 17, 2010 - Biometrics letter rec'd

June 10, 2010 - Biometrics appt

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

It states "that it means temporary refusal to verify documents"
