My hubby wants to quit his job now. it is not related to anything for the visa. but the i-130 and DS230 documents have the information about his current job.

the embassy website says you MUST not quit your job before you get a visa. if he quits, will they not give him a visa because he quit his job????

You must not die, is different from you may die. If you go on a difficult mission as a spy in a foreign country, ordered to assassinate somebody, it's possible that you die, but it's possible that you will return unharmed. You must not die, but you may die. Be aware of that.

The US Government has no say in a Japanese citizen's job choice.

In addition, the people who wrote the stuff are idiots. They really are. What they wanted to convey, yet so clearly failed to do, is that people quickly give up everything, all the ties in their home country in order to immigrate, yet when their petition is denied for any reasons, are heartbroken, suicidal, and have to look for another job.

so he can quit his job? even though it says it's his present job on his DS230. even if he quits after i submit the documents, it will not matter??? :unsure:
