I was just thinking lately that I want to buy a gift for my parents back in Philippines... I was thinking instead of money, I decided to surprise them with a furnitures deliver to their house. I already tried to check online but could'nt find any proper website even the most biggest shopping mall in the Philippines lol. They have something on their site but it was just all appliances.

So I just wanna know if anybody ever done this, will appriciate sooo much any info. Thanks.

You have a great idea in mind! Unfortunately, the Philippines isn't updated in terms of online shopping, IMO. The biggest malls, like Mall of Asia, SM, Rustans...do not really advertise their merchandise for online purchase.

It is unfortunate, but that's the way it is in the Philippines.

You may want to try eBay or Sulit if you want to purchase online.

I have seen eBuy advertise furniture. However, I cannot vouch for the company, as I have not personally ordered from them.

Anyway, I hope this helps some. Good luck on your purchase! Again, it's a great idea for your parents.

depending on the size, kind, and amount of money you want to spend, you can purchase from here and send it though a courier.

but if you want to be practical as well, it would be better to just call the big malls there about what they have. they all have delivery services, except when the address is very remote.

or you can contact a friend to do the purchasing for you, so as not to ruin the surprise :)

Hey Markie, Thanks for the reply... I checked the sulit.com and they have some nice and interesting furnitures posted up there :) . Thanks a lot.

Yeah I know... Thats why I'm looking some store online to see how the furnitures look like and if how much it cost. And probably just ask if how much also for the delivery. But I think its kinda "tupid" and too much of money if I buy the furnitures here in the U.S... I probably gonna pay more money for the shipping in Philippines than the worth of that furnitures that I'm gonna buy here  . Plus it probably take a couple of months before they get it, I dont know...

A friend will work..... But its not that I'm being complicated, It's just I want to buy the stuff with my own taste that I know my parents will really gonna love and make them very happy. If you know what I mean. I'm atleast looking of either Living Room set or Dining Room, Bed or even just a Patio Set.

So I probably still stick in online shop, If its possible... If not.... Then they just probably get a card lol. But 1 member already gave some site that I already checked so maybe it will work :star:.
