Thanks so much VJ!! I read these forums every day and feel so much better knowing that I'm not the only one on this crazy journey! I haven't yet had a question that the previous posts couldn't answer :) I filled out everything just like the GUIDES and FAQS. And I never got an RFE (except for the IMBRA RFE of course).

According to my VJ timeline I wasn't going to get approved until October. I feel so lucky to have gotten approved today :dance:

For those of you still waiting, especially people with NAO1 dates way before me, ugh, I'm sorry. :unsure: I remember when I was SO jealous of the other approvals. I bet your surprise is coming soon! :yes: Just like mine and probably all the other approvals today - it will be when you least expect it!

12/25/01 - met online

07/16/02 - first time we both said "I love you"

06/14/04 - Parijat's interview for travel visa in Mumbai denied :(

07/05/04 - date he would have arrived in the US :(

12/26/04 - I flew to India for 2 weeks

08/12/05 - Parijat's interview for B-1 visa in Mumbai also denied :(

12/19/05 - I flew again to India for 3 weeks

12/25/05 - ENGAGED!!! :) :) :)

05/15/06 - I-129F sent to CSC

05/15/06 - I flew again to India for 6 weeks

05/30/06 - NOA1 received at CSC

06/28/06 - IMBRA RFE received

07/01/06 - I returned from India

07/03/06 - IMBRA RFE sent

07/31/06 - APPROVED NAO2 from CSC!!! YAY!!! :) :) :)

08/01/06 - touched (received email that we are approved)

08/09/06 - petition received at NVC

08/14/06 - petition sent by NVC to Mumbai

08/14/06 - petition received by Mumbai (is this possible?)

08/23/06 - Packet 3 sent to Parijat from Mumbai

There are so many cases as ours.....sent in the same month......got evdience in the same month....and they received that in the same month too..

But....they all got approved on July 31....that day is Chinese Valetine's Day, and that is the best gift for them ever...

:help: Where is my Valetine's gift???.........when will we get approved??

May 23, 2006 We have received NOA1

June 14, 2006 Our case had been transfered to CSC

July 3, 2006 We had received for asking more evidence
