I know this question may seem trival considering how long everyone here has been waiting. My fiancee and I have just started this K-1 Fiancee Visa journey. I mailed the petition package to Texas Service Center yesterday by Express Mail (1- Day Delivery by the Post Office). I checked online today to make sure it was delivered because it was guaranteed to be there by today at noon. The Post Office said they had tried to deliver the package to TSC's Post Office Box and had left a slip in the box telling them they had an Express Mail Package for pickup. Today came and went and nobody claimed my petition package. I would've thought that the mail department at Texas Service Center would've picked up their mail at least once a day. My package was delivered to their Post Office Box at 10:30 a.m. this morning. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

That is odd. Generally, U.S. mail is delivered and signed for on the spot. Even though a PO box, the mail people know the deal and get a signature.

Keep tracking until tomorrow, if nothing happens, call the USPS express people and have them hand carry the item in the front door.

There is a service agreement here, they (USPS) need to honor it. Get on those peeps!!!

Good luck in your process!!!!

Thanks. Appreciate the fast response. I'll give them until noon tomorrow and then will call the USPS. Delivery of a slip to a box isn't what I call Guaranteed Delivery.

Thanks. So based on them picking up their mail so early, my 10:30 a.m. delivery to their P.O. Box won't be picked up by them until tomorrow? It's Express Mail so they have to return to the Post Office to sign for it. Usually Post Office's don't open until 9 a.m. I hope that having to sign for the package doesn't make them mad.

It's okay, it happens to them every day and happened with our petition as well. Check USPS online tomorrow morning, you'll see that it was signed for.
