Medical Exam: Schedule now or wait?

Hi,

I received packet 3 from the Montreal Consulate outlining everything I need to send back and the medical examination part is tripping me up. The medical examination is one of the required items I have to get ready on the checklist (along with birth certificate, passport, etc) but on the last page of the package that goes into detail about the examination, it says to give the doctor's office the date of your interview when you make the appointment.

Should I be waiting until I have an interview date to make the appointment for my exam? Or, should I do it now? The instructions seem to contradict themselves.

And, if I wait until I have a date, should I write "TBD" beside medical examination on the checklist?

you can check off the medical exam, most of the k1 do that on the checklist. they don't ask for the exam to be sent back right now they just want it when you go to your interview. same with the police check.

you can also check out the consulate info it's up to date with what you need etc.
