Senior told me to ask John but John hasn't posted. Sorry TheJesal for assuming you knew what it says. I see my name and the words USCIS and NOA2 and buddy. Other than that..Kruz said something about all desperately waiting. JOHN or SENIOR or KRUZ (if you happen to stop by again) or anyone else here that can read Hindi, please...what does it say?

One who wrote poem should be one who translates it. :-)

And he must state:

translators is compotent

trnslation is accurate

get it? :-)

Very cute March2010.

Since poem is about USCIS and NOA2s, it has to be translated their way. Gr...8, and I like ur idea.

C'mon John! be the competent translator. No?

I get really annoyed when family members tell me "Well _____ got their visa in this many days with a lawyer" in otherwords saying im doing something wrong.

Grr.

Haha I agree with you......What you are going through.....they think they are on the top of the world after going through the immigration procedure.....but they don't know it changes time to time.....I would just ignore ... and won't share any stories....further... or worst i can do is...fool them by making up a nice story that makes them jealous.....

TiyaValentina..thanks so much for your reply to the other post. Have got more doubts, but will keep reading.. and joining this thread. I see, my timeline closely matches with 'TheJesal'. Also, feel irritated we didn't submit I-130 soon after wedding. Heck!

By the way, anybody got an idea if this is true?; I read that we don't really have to wait till we get the DS3032 form thru' post. Since, its going to take a while for it to reach from US to India by post, that we could email them making our spouse as our agent. Suppose this is not true, anybody got any other info on how to speed this up? It usually takes 3-4 weeks for me a receive her card or letter from US. In fact there is no guarantee that i will receive it, at first place.

JinyAndJony, thank for joining us. If you read through the LingChe guide link, it will tell you that you don't really have to wait for anything to get to you in the mail. For the DS3032, you can send that off as soon as they send the DS3032 e-mail to you. They will do this a few days after you have been assigned a NVC case number. The other forms like the I-864 and DS230 can be mailed out by you or your wife (after the 1st page and 1st page ONLY is signed by the foreign spouse...the 2nd page must be signed in front of an officer at the interview at your consulate) after you have paid the respective bills and printed the sheet that shows that you paid (which will be on the website that is referred to on here as the "payment portal"). Here is that link again:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

This should make much more sense than my ramblings. :).

Sooo.... I dont know if this is weird.

But i sent in the documents on the 11th, got NOA 1 back on the 19th dated the 18th. I havent had any sort of "touches" to my case. Is this good news, bad news or no news or does it sound like ive provided all the adequate information, because i have no RFE.

I am growing more anxious by the day.

Zeban, welcome :star: ! If you would please update your time that would be greatly appreciated. You can find it at the top of the page after clicking on "Immigration Timelines" and then on the right hand side, you see "Edit/Add my timeline" or something like that.

As for touches to your case, they don't really mean much because USCIS doesn't tell you what they did with your case or why. As far you having provided all of the info, I don't know because I don't know what you sent in. No RFE's is a good thing though. You are now just stuck in the waiting game with the rest of the lovely Marchers here. :crying: Feel free to join us in our merrymaking to pass the time.

Good luck on your journey!

There has to be some approvals this week!!!! Thanks Totosan. I can be the guide of "How not to do the NVC". For example, I input the wrong info into the payment portal :bonk: so now I have to wait until they tell me it is wrong, so I can redo it.. Stupid mistake. Oh well, I'm still waiting for everything else to fall into place so no big deal here. For those of you already to fly through NVC, don't make the same mistake. It'd be easier if you could pay with your card but they won't let you so you have to enter your routing number and the account number (found on your checks...which I don't have). So today I have to call and get that number from my bank as well as call the USPS mail service and figure out where the heck my AOS package that I sent to my possible co-sponsor went. I sent it on the 1st and it is still not there....knowing this, I can't believe I ever sent my I-130 petition by mail. all of NVC packages will be sent FedEx or UPS for sure!!!!
