Hope many people get approved! I dont know of a single March filer getting their NOA2.

Is there anybody from march who is Approved?

16th March 2010: I130 sent
25th March 2010: NOA1 Received
23rd July 2010: I130 Approved
Your I-130 was approved in 120 days from your NOA1 date.

30th July 2010: NVC Received
14th Sept 2010: Case complete at NVC
22nd Oct 2010: Interview date assigned
19th Nov 2010: Interview at 7:30 A.M IST APPROVED
Passport with visa in hand on the same day.

N400 Sent: 31st Oct 2013

NOA1: Nov 4th 2013

Letter for Biometrics recievied with Appt on 12/09/2013: Nov 18th 2013

I got approved on May 26.

But, as of 10 mins ago, NVC (via the automated voice system) does NOT have a case number assigned to my USCIS file sooo I guess maybe they're a lil behind because of the long weekend?(at least, that's what I'm hoping). I've looked at a bunch of other peeps timelines and, it seems the trend is from the time USCIS approves to the time they get their NVC case number is approx. 6 days....

Sooo, maybe it'll update later in the day.

They have changed the processing time on the USCIS website for IR1/CR1 to 6 months (up from 5 months) and the approvals are slow. I think it unfortunately means that the wait will be longer for March filers than it was for those who filed even in the 3-4 months preceding March.

No. Cuz the world came in and I am now on the phone again trying to call them....oooh...some one answered.

My NOA 1 has no middle name for my wife but mine does. Just remember people we live in a do as I say not as I do world. Their documents dont need to stand up like ours do . They are the provider and the paperwork they provide does not get scrutinized as much as our paperwork does. I would only concern myself if they didn't put the correct name in or had significant typos. Remember they are Government workers which means well lets just say they are not as efficient as the private sector. :whistle:

Oh What a long week end. I am so tired...paddle paddle paddle.

TJ people are always welcome at my house, provided that they help with the dishes... :lol::yes:

So we're looking at sometime around (big emphasis) end of October to end of December. :)

I hope I don't have any RFE's since we're working with a professional. The main reason we went with a lawyer is to prevent any delays. :thumbs:

Geeh never hear of a Lawyer delaying anything. :rofl: Good Luck I hope you get what you paid for but I just get the feeling Lawyers are overated. At best they are just more familar with the forms but they put the real work in your court and will rely on you for all the information. Its the gathering of that that takes time because the forms are simple. Dont see how that worth the cost of one. :no:

Yeah. A middle name missing is one thing especially if it is just for the USC but in my case, all kinds of names were missing. In my husband's country, if you reverse his first name and middle names, you get the name of someone who has a criminal record. No goood!

That is also because no one wants to play the game we created. I highly doubt that no one has any questions nor that they will be radio silent once in the NVC threads, but whatever.Once we all get approvals we will all be headed over to NVC and therefore our bond will be forever changed. :P. I guess we just sit and wait. We (those who type a ton on here) can ask questions about the NVC. Since no one else responds anyway, what does it matter what we put in here (on topic).

I finally mailed off my I-864 to my supposed co-sponsor. After the hours of work I put into the packet, I have a sneaky feeling that it will be looked at and firmly rejected within 5 seconds. Then I will be back to the root of one of the major issues. *Sigh*

Teya - just realized this. its been exactly 90 days for you since you got your NOA1. Wow. that is crazy aint it? 90 whole days have passed by.
