Nope. My 1st NOA1 was March 1st. The 2nd NOA1 I recieved was full of mistakes. Looks like someone typed it quickly and sent it off because it just looks weird. My date is still March 1st.

The date has never been an issue. They left out names. For example. My name is A... M.... C...... W.... and they put C......, A.... M- that isn't my full name nor my legal full name nor what I had put on the petition. For my husband his name is V...... O... C...... L..... they put C......, V - That isn't his full/legal name nor what I had filled out for him. On the 2nd form they put C...... , A... (no joke...huge space there on the form) for me and for him they put C...... , V...... (looks as if they were going to put the other names but they just didn't.)

If any of that made sense.

Hi!

I was wondering if any one could tell me when should I expect my NOA 2, knowing that the NOA 1 was dated 5th march 2010. I did not get any touch on my file any time during this wait. Do you think that is an issue?

Also do I first see the NOA 2 in the mail or should I expect any change online?

Do I need to ask my spouse from India to send me the Police clearence/Birth certificate and other papers here to USA and I can mail it from here to the NVC or my spouse is the one who needs to send those papers from India?

If my spouse has a brand new passport in the last 3 months, do we still need my spouses PCC?

When do I need to send the financial support document?

Please reply.

I don't know why I bother to hang out in the May interviewers forum and read their posts. It makes me happy that the majority of them are getting approved but I know their cases are nothing like my case. I honestly can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not looking for sympathy. Just pondering out loud. Maybe there will be my NOA1 waiting in the mail for me today.

I guess I dont understand why your case is so different :bonk: I think we all have differences but the rules or process is much the same. Having said that I can see if someone say had some bad history in their past then things would be different. I am trying to get my wife here without a co sponser and I have not worked since Jan 2008. I feel however if what I read is correct I dont have a problem because of my assets. I think we each need to be honest with ourselves and move forward based on what we know. I for one would not have a problem living in another country. I would just complain alot. haha and have to adjust accordingly.

I hope your case get moving. I thought the NOA1 was almost automatic... but perhaps I misunderstood your comments... ITs hot here today and I always think poorly in the heat.

this should answer all your questions.

We Dont know when you will receive you NOA2. However, I would guess it to be sometime in June. If you dont get any touches, it is not a big deal. A lot people haven't gotten any touches and have had their NOA2.

Dont know which will happen first. I heard read that at times the online changes quickly and at times you will get a letter earlier than the change.

As for the PCC, if you wife has to go to Ahmedabad. There is no way they will give you your wife's PCC without a checklist from NVC. No matter what, you do need a PCC. If the passport is less than 6 months old, then you only need one from the passport office. If its more than 6 months old, then you need an additional one from you local police station.

You can have you spouse send you all the documents ahead of time, so that you wont have to wait the 15 days for it to get here. Just read the lingChe's shortcuts for this.

Sending in your Financial stuff, you dont have to send anything until you pay the AOS fee.

you can get prepared by having you wife at least send you the following:

Original Birth certificate

Original Marriage certificate

DS230 form filled and part 1 signed (shouldn't date it)

Copy of passport

4 copies of passport size pics.

I got my NOA1. It just didn't have all of our names on there and therefore will cause problems down the line. If my husband doesn't get the visa and there is no "easy fix"...my daughter and I will be moving to Peru. I know we could do it but it would be much nicer to be up here. I'm not knocking Peru, just that my husband doesn't live in a mansion (neither do I...but you know what I mean) in the awesomest place in Peru.

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

hahaha...its a good one...i liked the interview one better than the NVC one. They were cracking on sachinky and other members.

10/04/2010: Case# received, Both email id provided

10/05/2010: DS-3032 COA emailed to NVC

10/11/2010: IIN received

10/11/2010: AOS review fee ($88) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/14/2010: AOS status 'PAID'

10/16/2010: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/19/2010: DS-230 IV status 'PAID'

10/20/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package sent

10/22/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package delivered. Signed by: J Desmond.

11/10/2010: SIF!!!

11/14/2010: received checklist for missing passport office PCC.

11/10/2010: NVC Completion

12/09/2010: NVC Forwards Case to Consulate

CONSULATE

11/22/2010: Passport Office PCC to be in hand

12/22/2010: Medical Completed

12/28/2011: VFS Office Visit - Submit all required documents

01/10/2011: Interview Date - APPROVED

j1/11/2011: Passport arrived at home.

01/25/2011: Wife Comes to USA (POE: Newark, NJ)
