I'm pretty sure I have all of you beat for the last time I saw my husband. July 6th (so going on 10 months. That is also the last time that he saw our baby girl in person (who was almost 3 1/2 months when we left...is now 13 months. Not to discredit anyone else's waiting time but a month is not suppppeeeeer long in the grand scheme of things. I have no chance of seeing him either before he steps foot on my turf this time. :(. Waiting does suck for sure.

Well they say what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger... But I dont believe it! Its a full time job you have with the child and I hope you have help. My days of that are over I think but My wife doesn't think so haha... We all need to keep our sense of humor or we are lost. I am sure after all this, immigration jokes with have a whole new meaning... :star:

Does anyone know if USCIS looks at the application based on when they receive it or they just open files randomly? The reason I am asking is because I saw people who submitted their application in march getting their NOA2 before people who applied for in January/february. Trying to figure out why that is the case. If it is random, then we wont know for sure when we will get our NOA2s.

This waiting thing is really painful as we have to stay away from our loved ones.

Take care everyone and hoping that we get our NOA2 soon. Please do update your timeline and notify us all once you receive it

JD I would think its FIFO... but those who are running behind may have had more difficult packages or had RFE associated with their package. Those running ahead may be from countries that are more favored by the US because of their past practices. I am just guessing and I am sure there are time when something gets misplaced or something gets put on top. Remember these are government workers and they historically are not know for efficency...

With regards to anyone recieving a NOA 2 I would not expect that to happen until late June at the soonest for those who sent there I-130 in during March.

I believe all of us are waiting very impatiently. I think I am not even going to bother about it till end of June like TomD mentioned. If it comes earlier then great. In the mean while, prepare all the necessary documents for NVC stage.

If the time lines would quit jumping all over the place, that would be nice. I'm along the same feeling as Greg in waiting until it gets here (suspecting it will be August due to 5 month wait rules) and if it gets here before August, be super happy and worried at the same time (my own addition there). Waiting is hard but it once the whole process (and getting your SO onto your home turf) is done, it will be worth it and a great relief.

TeyaValentina i think you should be getting you NOA2 by end of May. As you have an early march application. If your application get to end of August, then i guess mine wont come till end of september :crying: Just hope that's not the case.

Thanks. Everyone in March will be different. I saw today that another March NOA1 person got their NOA2. They filed after me and I didn't notice an expidited request on their time line...so....I don't know. It would be nice if it was in order but it doesn't seem to be.

Do you happen to know what country did that person belong to? Reason I am asking is because for some reason some countries application are accepted sooner than others. Hoping ours comes soon too
