So... Please enlight me: People -well some people- that sent their petition after we did, received their NOA2 already... I know it's only tuesday, but WTH???

When during the day does the service center send the notifying e-mail? Maybe I'll stop looking at my e-mails 5 times a day...

C'mon now, this has GOT to be approved this week, or I don't know what I'm going to do!

Observing from the statistics in VJ timelines of members, it seems like they stopped processing right after they hit 24th Nov 09 for some reason. Today it is back on track 9a little progress for few) So I assume yours should come before the end of the week. At least you only check 5 times a day, me being an month after you, I already check 15 times a day. I can feel you.

If you have a cellphone you can have them send a text to it that way you don't have to be waiting by the computer. That is how I found out my NOA2 was approved. I don't know why it is working so slow for you, my application won the lottery or something and received its NOA2 after 3 weeks.

You must be one of the lucky ones, don't know what pattern VSC follows. Is it by date or batch processed by country or just random? You never know.

My guess is that they are understaff or doing some training for new staff.

Thats the only two reasonable answers I could think of..

We have been trying to figure out the VSC process for months. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to their process.

I received my NOA2 email at 9:45 PM. Some people have received their email over the weekend. Only VSC knows why.

Hang in there...you should see something this week.

Actually in the pinned post of Gary's interview with VSC director, they mention that they occasional shift work loads and stop doing one action like I-129s and start doing another like I-130s.. Not sure if this is the case, but I would guess you could see if the other VSC actions have been spiking up while the 129s have been spiking down on the statistics pages

lol Patience, something most of us here can say is not easy to come by.

It amazes me how fast the new approvals are whipping out. Hell I applied a year ago today for my K1...and I'm still waiting for my visa. Be glad there have been improvements to the system. You will get your Noa2 soon. And then you will almost forget how long you have been away from each other when you get to spend the next 50 or more years together!

I am sure you will hear soon. CSC approved my K-1 on March 3rd, but NVC has not gotten it yet. I would have preferred it pending approval in CSC than having no information about my case. Now, I do not even know where my case is at. So, I hope yours gets approved soon, and it gets to NVC soon as well.

I really think no one, who is in a real loving relationship, deserves to go through this HELL! Each day is a torture. It's like a prison sentence!

So let's hope we all get out of an NOA-2 jail soon!

I am right there with you!!!!! I sent our I-129F on Nov. 21, 2009 NOA1 on Nov. 24, 2009 updaed on Nov. 30, 2009 and now nothing. We are both losing our minds waiting for an answer. I check so many times day that if they soley based on how many times you checked your status we would have been approved by now! Not to mention I call a couple of times a week. LOL. I am glad to see I am not the only one that checks several times a day. Hopefully, VJ's that recieved NOA1 in Novemeber 2009 will hear something soon. The wait is mueder!!!!!
