me and my husband are having problems looking for a civil surgeon who can facilitate the second part of my vaccination here in the u.s.a. we've talked to some of the designated civil surgeons and all of them wants to do the same medical procedures like the one i went through at st. lukes manila philippines and refused to do the vaccination only, because according to them it is their policy to do the medical examination and the vaccination all over again and they cannot sign the form I-693 that we needed, but when we called the uscis all they required was a properly completed and a signed form I-693 report of completed vaccination record. me and my husband are really frustrated with everything.... it seems that the civil surgeons and uscis have different idea about this. if theres anyone in here who experienced the same thing that we have right now, please give us some information that might help us. thank you so much and we will appreciate any information that you can share. God bless us.

I see countless posts about these same issues. Some of the problems are a LOT of CS will not sign off on ANY portion of the I-693 even though you have them read along where it states another exam is NOT required if the previous exam is less than 1 year ago, in which case it is with my wife. I had a CS lie to my face once we were at her office even though in a phone conversation she said she would do the transcription of immunizations for $125, which I know is way over priced. She refused to do it and wanted $415 for an exam. I just left her office, and of course I was pissed, and drove to another CS that said she would do the transcriptions for $10 or a full medical for $165. Needless to say I drove the 50 miles. It don't matter if you know the rules or NOT, these CS do damn well what they please, and they know they have us in a bind as this form, I-693, is a MUST, exam or NOT.

You may just have to do another medical, so be prepared for that.

We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.
