timeline between nvc and interview

hello,

what is the timeline like for right now between case complete and interview.. as i saw somewhere that MTL was back logged and yet it looks like only a month or so from case complete to interview?

~~~ Medical : 2010-09-28~~~ ~~~ MTL Interview : 2010-10-20~~~ ~~~ APPROVED~~~

Not sure atm, I was going to wait til got my case complete before I started stressing about that!

Case complete @ NVC: 04/14/10

Interview @ Montreal: 07/13/10 - Approved

POE: Sweetgrass, MT, 08/07/10

Filed for ROC: 07/20/12

Biometrics appt: 08/24/12

You most likely looking at longer than a month. trailmix has a great thread tracking the wait times ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/94768-ir1-cr1-montreal-timeline-to-interview/page__st__2775) although the recent VJ update has messed with it a bit. :crying:

If you scroll through and look at the numbers at the end of each line that is the time (in day) from completion to interview. I would say you are looking at about 3 months on average. Good luck.

I was hoping they had caught up a bit. Is there anywhere on the consulate website that shows the interviews scheduled? I know Cambodia and Thailand have something like that on theirs.

Unfortunately I think the 2 -3 month wait represents "catching up." Some filers had been waiting 4 - 5 months. We waited 3 months last year during what I believe was a "normal" period :) I don't think Montreal shows the interview bookings online.
