I'd like to thank everyone on VisaJourney who helped my and my wife complete this process.

My wife finally received her permanent resident Visa and she's coming to the US in the end of this month.

I'm wondering how she'll receive her green card and when she can start working?

Also, are there other forms I need to accomplish now? I know I have to file an adjustment of status form or something within 90 days, but I wouldn't mind some additional info

Thanks

With a CR1 or IR1 visa, there's not status to adjust to. She'll enter with permanent residents status and be mailed a green card good for 2 or 10 years depending on whether you've been married more or less than two years upon entry. Green card and SS card usually arrive automatically within a month. She'll need to provide both with her I-9 form when she becomes employed.

Cool, thanks for the info. Can she use her visa stamped as temporary green card for working; I heard something like that once. Just wondering

She can technically work with the stamped CR1/IS1 immigrant visa, but is likely to get her GC before she actually starts working.

It took three weeks after the US entry for me to receive my GC.
