Reading through the visa guide on the K1 visa, it says to send supporting documents and the I-134 to my fiancee for the interview. I am going to the interview with her, so can I just bring them to China with me? Or does she need these to send to the consulate before the interview?

You should look at the website for the embassy in Guangzhou at this point, since you are now more specifically focused on China. http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/general_information2.html This is the link for finding forms, ect. that you will need. Once your girl receives the Packet-3 she will send in the DS-230 Part I, OF-169, and an EMS label which is used to mail her Packet-4. Three things, that is all...everything else goes to the interview. Good luck!! ;)

The I-134 specifically is handed over by her, at the IV unit, on Interview Day.

If you need to review the forms - see http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/forms_and_packets.htm

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

If your going to be there for the interview with her there is no need to send this in advance. I did the same (Vietnam). I arived a few weeks before the interview and I hand carried everything. We spent alot of time reviewing everything together, how the info was labeled and separated, etc.

I left spaces in the packet to include the info she had compeleted and we combined all the interview documents in the order specified by packet 4.

Thanks for all the help. I plan on going over all the paperwork with her, so we can feel confident about the interview.
