Affidavit of support question

Please oh please leave it in this forum?

My question is this: My mom is my co-sponsor for the K1. We are filling out our affidavit of support papers. Mine was easy, I have almost nothing.

For hers though, it says

"I own real estate valued at:

With mortgage(s) or other encumbrance(s) thereon amounting to:"

So she owns her house, but is still paying off the mortgage. Is that what this refers to?

It's the house she lives in, all other questions will have a "none" next to them... we are going sheerly off her annual income to qualify.

she only needs to include values on property or in accounts if she is using them instead of her income to prove she is able to support above the proverty limits.
