Read the reviews from other people that had interviews already.

Is your spouse going with you?

I found the interview is the easiest part of the process.

As many have stated, the interview is 99.9999% of the time the easiest part of the whole process. Most of ur time at the consulate is spent waiting around! The interview itself is lucky to last 10 min, and most of that time is spent by the officer looking over ur paperwork! What some have done to calm their fears is list the on VJ what stuff they have ready for the interview, and others chirp in to see if they have missed anything

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Yes, you buy the largest envelope, however if you live in Ontario or Quebec you can buy the 'regional' one, but outside of that you need the 'national' one, I presume the price changes accordingly. I believe it's next-day delivery.

hi smurfette consular officer ask you a simple question but remember and bear in mind give answer point to point dont talk extra because extra talking create lots of question and give answer with eye to eye contact and dont look around unnecessary if you dont know exact date of any of your event tell him i dont remember at the moment

quick remedy tip when you go embassy take chewgum packet with you and eat chewgum all the time when you eat chewgum it will control your nervousness and your concentration is still stand on one point

1 who is your sponsored you

2 what is the name of sponsor

3 what is your marriage date

4 how long your wife or husband stay here after marriage

5 when she come back here canada

6 now when she go back

7 and he ask about marriage certificate

8 why you want to go america

9 how did you meet

10 where did you meet

11 how much your wife spend time in canada

13 for how long we have relationship and know each other

14 did your wife or husband parent attend your marriage

15 what is your wife or husband job title

16 where is your wife is she in canada or she went back

17 and then he asked about wedding photo and then he askedthat where you took this picture

18 and some time consular officer searching in the picture of husband or wife parent in it or not

i hope it will helpful for you if you have any other question you can feel free to ask me have a nice day :and good luck for your interview
