Yeah, I'm excited to be on the road. Unforunately, I THINK I'm coming down with a cold! I was worried this would happen. I've been taking extra vitamins and sucking on Zinc lozenges for a few days, but I think a cold is coming on. Well, no biggie. I'm still leaving tomorrow. If I have to take it easier and take an extra day to get down there, so be it. :yes:

We'll definitely arrange a DC get-together in the not-too-distant future. I'm going to give myself a few weeks to get acclimated before I commit to anything like that, but soon enough, I'm sure!

Echinachia always works for me..i pop 2 right away when i feel a cold comming on and usually the symptoms go away. i never believed in it til my brother told me a few years ago about it..and wow it really does work at least for me anyway.

Congrats Wyatt! Good luck on your trip! Do be careful with the snow & rain in the Midwest, not sure which way you are taking but be prepared for a boring drive through the plains.. Almost 4 hours between cities/towns.... Flat land..lol...

A lot of people don't think I can make it in three full days. I'm planning on proving them wrong! I think 1000 miles a day is more than doable. I've done 1150 miles in a day once, and that was in a '79 Trans Am with poor ventilation and less comfortable seats etc. I'm not saying it's going to be a cakewalk, but I think it can be done without seriously straining myself. :yes:

I don't know yet, actually! What do you suggest? You go through the border quite often, don't you? I'll probably be crossing at about 6:00 AM. I'm really on the fence as to which crossing I'll take.

Congrats my friend!!!! Now you'll be in my neck of the woods! Doesn't it seem like not too long ago that we were all complaining about how long it was all taking and now it seems like a ton of us are all living in the exact same area!
