Still waiting for NOA2 getting worried....feedback please

Timeline

We have filed the I-130 back in October, recieved NOA1 within a few weeks and nothing since...should we be worried? I would appreciate any feedback or advice

My I130 took 163 days to get approved.

NOA1 12/13/11

Biometrics 1/6/12 Complete

RFE 9/13/12

RFE package sent back 10/17/12

Card Production Ordered 12/04/12

10 year card arrived in mail 12/10/12

That IS a long time to be waiting for NOA2. I would be contacting USCIS for information as to why this is.

Being proactive (even incessantly so) doesn`t hurt the process. Definitely give USCIS a call and find out what`s up!

3000 mile drive from Vancouver to DC: 03-10-10 to 3-12-10

Green card received: 04-02-10

Better to be very overprepared than even slightly underprepared!

Timeline

There should be a case number on the NOA1 or on the back of the cashed cheque. You should be able to check on your case with this number. I thinkk when we had to inquire on our case the number started with a W

I have tried going in online with the case number and it comes back with nothing, just said it's being reviewed. Has been like that since October. Will I get to talk to someone if I called? And would they give me more info?

Yes you can speak with someone when you call. When we had to call I couldn't get through from Canada Lorry had to call them from the US.

That may have changed since then but that's how it was when we had to contact USCIS by phone
