Your turn now k? ;) The person was very nice, of course my petition was not there because it was approved yesterday. I hope we can see a normal pattern of some kind soon, that would be very relieving to the peeps coming next. I also sent NVC an email with my approval notice attached. B)

Oh yeah, touched also today!

No touches for us after the petition was reaffirmed. I just talked to NVC and they sent the petition to Rio yesterday. Not so fast this time, huh? But I won't complain. Really, I'm happy that the consulate will get it back soon.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I was approved on Friday 8/4 and then touched on Sunday 8/6. I'm thinking (hoping) that the touch on Sunday was the USCIS sending the petition to the NVC. I think I will begin my calls to the NVC tomorrow morning.

Mew - that's great - your petition was already received by the NVC and forwarded??? that's awesome!! I knew there was something wrong w/ ours that it took over THREE weeks for NVC to get it. I've noticed the pattern being that NVC usually only has the petition at most for 2-3 days before sending it off to the consulates. And someone at the NVC told me they use DHS which I'm figuring would be a max of 4-5 days until arrival at the consulate.

the delay could be because CSC doesn't know what the heck to do with recalls. You are the only other one besides me that I've seen as CSC. I wish they would have just whipped mine on through like they did yours. It's very troublesome not knowing what's going on.

FYI: Called the NVC today and they said they forwarded the case onto the "post" (consulate) on 8/7 - the same day they received it from USCIS. I know they use DHL and figure it's got to arrive to the consulate by this week.

It takes 5 to 6 days for things to get from NVC to Brazil. So I guess you'll hear something soon.
