Hi Yardies...Just a little update. My hubby and I just celebrated our first anniversary yesterday and he got a job yesterday. Praise be to God! Other than that, we are doing okay. Daughter is driving me crazy with her boycraze and one of my supervisors at work cannot spend a day without calling me to give me corrective counseling with her Harry Porter looking self (but I digress), I finally had to go to HR for harrasment, but we shall see. Just keep me in your prayers.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Today is going to be rough. Im so sleepy. I was worried to death about hubby. One of his good friends was shot and killed last night in JA. My baby is a trooper though. I know he is strong, but its good to know I can be there for him to comfort him (F)

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that (F)

Happy Friday everyone!!

I seriously almost killed my son last night. He has been grounded this whole week because of his dutty attitude and his chronic classroom disruption at school. So he has not been allowed to watch tv, play xbox, or go to basketball. Last night he asked if he could take his xbox to his dads this weekend and i said no.....he proceeds to go into a fit like a 3 year old and tell me that his dad is the one who bought the xbox so he could take it over there if he wants to.......i was like OH REALLY???? we'll see about that!

Oh boy, calm down momma :star:

Happy Anniversary! :star:

That's AWESOME about the job. I already made a spreadsheet indicating how much STeven will make after taxes per hr/week/month based on what hourly wage he has. I can't WAIT to have another income flow.

Hope things work out wiht the harassment.

Hey Quana, it is nice that you got to spend the time with him. That is a blessing.

Personally I am all for cremation. I guess its a family thing. My mother said if we ever put her in a box she is coming back to haunt us.

Her boyfriend of 15 years passed away when I was in my 20's. He was cremated and his ashes put in the ocean here in Maine... my mother has asked for the same thing so she "can be with Joe".

For QUANA -- I know I am a day late a dollar short on this topic as usual but my condolences to you Q!

Secondly, if he was a veteran there is a fund for burial of all veterans regardless of when and when they served, active duty or not.

LOL your funny! I thought I was the only one who did that. I have made three different "family budgets" one with just mine (currently in use :crying: ), with my hubby's future income working a regular job and one with him working an excellent job (the last one is the one I'm praying for  ) It will happen soon for all of us waiting for that 2nd income. God heres our prayers.

I feel so damn lost but I can't read so many pages  Why y'all talk so much?

SO is good, yesterday we went to the New York Aquarium, he loved it!! Then we went to NYC and was just walking around, we found him a suit fo rthe wedding, still didn't find anything for me! We were suppose to go out today but I'm tired, had to do my hair so we're chilling for the night. So far it's ok. I was really worried about not having any personal space but I found one, the bathroom. Been in here for hours, took a showere, washed my hair, shat VJ, shop online and he didn't even knock on the door to check if I was ok. He's busy with my 5 year old niece that is obsessed with him :star:

As for the wedding, didn't plan anything yet but I know it won't be anything big. I do want to have it in a church and then escape to the poconos for a weekend. Will not be having a reception and who don't like that "oh freaking well!" My family is too filled w' drama to be having any get together
